For those who are new to Adf.ly, it is a url shortening service, you can earn money by sharing links. When ever somebody clicks on your Adf.ly link a 5 second ad will be displayed, if he/she views the ad you will earn money.

My Experience with Adf.ly:
I will tell you all things inside out where nobody else will tell you unless you sign up for an account at Adf.ly site and participate actively in their forum. Here I will cover all important points for you to get familiar with.
First of all it is most likely that anyone will join Adf.ly is to earn money. Let me tell you about earning with Adf.ly. If you join Adf.ly your first earnings start from $0.000000. Note, that there are 6 digits after the period. So you don’t even get $0.01 cent for 20 ad views while other advertising sites are paying at least $0.04 to $0.10 for full page ad view. If you are a beginner you have to work hard to get paid $5 which is minimum payout. But there are success stories, established people are doing great. They are earning good amount from Adf.ly.
Even if you have a site getting decent traffic, your website traffic stats may differ with Adf.ly stats. I mean Adf.ly stats will show you low page views when compared with website stats. The reasons for this are stated below.
The following activities by any user visiting your site will not give you any Adf.ly views.
1. It’s possible that your visitor doesn’t have cookies enabled. No cookies, no view.
2. If flash is disabled, this doesn’t count as well.
3. If your visitor didn’t view the ad for 5 seconds, then it won’t count.
4. Your visitor didn’t click the Adf.ly link. Copy paste methods in the url don’t count.
5. If people visiting your site are using addons like “NoScript” and “Ads Fight”, views will not count.When you look on the Adf.ly home page they explicitly state that you can earn more than $4.00 / 1000 visitors to your links. But as per my experience you can hardly earn $1.00 / 1000 visitors. It all depends on the countries your views are coming from. See the Publisher Rates, the average cost per view.
Things you should never do with your Adf.ly Account:
Try Avoiding the following activities…
1. Never use Bots or any other program for sending fake traffic.
2. Never post your Adfly links on Adult sites/forums.
3. Never derive traffic to Adfly links from PTC(paid to click) sites.
4. Never put Adf.ly Website Entry script on PTC,Adult sites or on sites that get traffic from paid sources.
5. Never try to create more than one Account From the same Computer.
6. Never try to double shrink an Adfly link(For eg. shrinking first with q.qs domain and secondly with adfly one)
7. Never ask your friends or anybody else to click on your Adfly links.
8. Never link to illegal content.
9. Never use spam.

How AdFly Works:
People pay to advertise with adf.ly, and people who shrink their links with adf.ly get a cut of the profit every time someone clicks an adf.ly shortened link.
When the adfly shortened link is clicked, there will be a 5 second ad

Create A Twitter Account

Create A Twitterfeed Account
Go to Twitterfeed.com and sign up for a free account, I'll discuss this later.
Create An Adf.ly Account
Adf.ly's looks have changed for 2013
Head on over to adf.ly, and click the "JOIN NOW" button near the top, fill out all the necessary information.
At the bottom of the form, make sure your account type is set to "link shrinker".
adf.ly only pays through PayPal, Liberty Reserve, and Payoneer. So be sure you're signed up with one of the three.
Update:
Adf.ly has changed its look and feel (for the better), but the same
rules still apply. If you are confused by the new look in coordination
with this tutorial, there is a "Happy Little Link" at the top left hand
corner of your adf.ly account page that says: "Problems? Go to the old adf.ly version."
I suggest clicking that link if you are having trouble following along
so everything explained in this tutorial should be easier to accomplish.
Working with RSS Feeds
Okay, so now what you want to do is go to Google, and search for any website that posts information and updates about the specific niche that you chose to base your twitter account on.
When you find the site you want, look for something on the page that will link you to that websites RSS feed, If you have trouble finding if they provide feeds or not, you can either go to "FIND" or "SEARCH" located in your browsers toolbar and type RSS in the search box, or enter the web site address in Google and add rss after it.
eg: gamestop.com rss
This will usually bring you to a page where you can select what rss feed you want, some sites offer multiple rss feeds so select the one you feel fits your needs.
Adding Your RSS Feed To TwitterFeed
Go back to twitterfeed.com, and create a new feed.
Add Feed To Twitterfeed
For this step all you have to do is copy the url of the feed you want to use, and paste it in to twitterfeed.
Add whatever you want for the name, and in the "Blog URL or RSS Feed URL" area, copy/paste (add) the url of the rss feed you want to use.

the same screen click the "Advanced Settings" button and go to "shorten
link through", there is a drop down box beside it, open it up and
scroll to the bottom and select "Custom", Leave it empty for now and go
back to Adf.ly, while logged in to adf.ly go to the top of the page and click Tools, on the tools page go to "API Documentation" and click.
On this page you will see a link that looks like this http://api.adf.ly/api.php?key=################################&uid=######&advert_type=int&domain=adf.ly&url=http://somewebsite.com
# represents your id and key.
Now take your key and uid and place it in this link (replace the # with your key and uid)
http://api.adf.ly/api.php?key=################################&uid=######&domain=adf.ly&url=%@
http://somewebsite.com Must Be Replaced With %@ In order for this to work.
Also you may have noticed that in the modified link "advert_type=int" has been removed, this is because TwitterFeed has issues showing the interstitial ad (full page ad) and just leads to a dead page when clicked, or shows the ads but doesn't redirect to the desired page, so the only way to fix this is by removing the "advert_type=int" instruction from the link and adf.ly will automatically use the interstitial link instruction and will work properly with TwitterFeed.
Now when that's done, all you have to do is copy and paste your new link into the twitterfeed Custom endpoint box and "Continue to step 2" on twitterfeed.
"There are more advanced options that will serve you well, but you can play around with that on your own time."
LAST STEP OMG!!!
Make sure that you are logged in to the twitter account that you want to use with twitterfeed, you are going to want to activate your twitter account with twitterfeeds oauth so it will automatically post feed/blog updates to your twitter account using the rss feed that you provided to twitterfeed, when that's all done, click done at the bottom, twitter will now get updated feed posts from twitterfeed, and the links in each post will now be automatically shrunk using adf.ly and posted to your twitter updates, and every time someone clicks your adf.ly link, you make a bit of cash.
